About the Internship:

The SFIO offers a rigorous internship program designed to engage students and fresh graduates in the intricate processes of investigating serious corporate frauds. This program is an excellent opportunity for those interested in finance, law, and governance to gain practical exposure in a government investigative environment.


Eligibility:

- Postgraduate students in MBA (Finance), Law (4th or 5th year of a five-year program), or similar fields.

- Fresh graduates with first-class degrees and students with a high second-class degree (minimum 55% marks).

- Students in the final year or equivalent of ICAI, ICAI (CMA), ICSI.

- Master or Research students in Economics, Finance, Management, or Law from recognized universities in India and abroad.

- Only open to Indian nationals.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ongoing investigations and research under the supervision of experienced officers.

  • Analyze financial documents and legal records.

  • Participate in drafting reports on findings.

  • Provide administrative and logistic support as required.

  • Ensure compliance with the Declaration of Secrecy and other regulatory requirements.


Duration: The internship can last from one to two months, depending on the needs of the SFIO and the availability of the intern.

Stipend: Interns will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 7,000, contingent upon the certification of their supervising officer.


Location: The internship will take place at SFIO offices, equipped with necessary logistic support such as office space and internet-enabled computers.


Additional Requirements: Interns are required to submit an assignment report on the allocated subject at the end of their internship and provide feedback on their experience. Successful interns will receive a certificate of completion, contingent on the satisfactory submission and evaluation of their assignment report.
