About the Internship:

This is a physical internship opportunity for law students who are passionate about pursuing a career in law. The internship will begin on 23rd August 2024 and is a minimum commitment of four months. Interns will work closely with Ashish Mehta and his team, gaining practical experience in legal research, drafting, and case preparation. This internship does not offer a stipend, but it provides invaluable experience and exposure to the workings of a top-tier legal chamber.

Eligibility:

- Applicants must have attempted the 4th Semester of a 3-year LLB course or the 8th Semester of a 5-year integrated law course.

- Strong command over legal research and legal writing skills is mandatory.

- Applicants must be available for a minimum of four months starting from 23rd August 2024.

- This internship is strictly physical; remote working is not permitted.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough legal research on various cases and legal issues.

- Assist in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, petitions, and briefs.

- Support the preparation of case files and court documents.

- Attend court proceedings and meetings as required.

- Contribute to discussions and strategy planning for ongoing cases.

- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on legal developments and case laws.

Duration:

- Minimum of four months, starting from 23rd August 2024.
