The International Council of Jurists (ICJ) is a global organization comprising jurists from various countries working collaboratively to promote justice and equality. ICJ is dedicated to legal awareness campaigns and upholding the rule of law and social justice by providing free legal aid and maintaining an efficient legal system.

About the Internship:

The International Council of Jurists is offering long-term internships at their New Delhi office. This opportunity is available on a rolling basis, providing interns with hands-on experience in legal research, content management, and proofreading.

Eligibility:

  • Office Internship: Students pursuing B.A LL.B or LL.B.

  • Traineeship: Students who have completed B.A LL.B, B.B.A LL.B, or LL.B.

  • Outstanding command of the English language.

  • Basic fundamental computer knowledge.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Update the ICJ website with legal issues, news, and latest changes in judicial systems.

  • Update the website with the latest amendments and alterations of statutes by domestic and international authoritative bodies.

  • Prepare case notes on judgments decided by the Supreme Court of India.

  • Proofread materials to ensure clarity, consistency, completeness, and grammatical correctness.

  • Ensure that content is accessible, credible, and well-written, with consistent styles and proper layout.

Duration:

The internship is offered on a rolling basis.

Location:New Delhi office at DS-423/424, New Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi.

Salary/Stipend:
  • Office Internship: Stipend of Rs. 5,000 per month.

  • Traineeship: Certificate of Appreciation.
