Internship Opportunity at Law Jurist for September 2024

About the Internship:

Law Jurist offers a highly enriching internship program that allows participants to immerse themselves in the essence of legal research and writing. This virtual/online internship provides interns with the opportunity to develop their research and analytical skills while contributing to meaningful legal and socio-legal projects. Interns will gain hands-on experience by working with legal databases and producing professional-quality articles, blogs, and case notes.


Eligibility:

- Open to students enrolled in any year of the BA.LLB/LLB program.

- Candidates should possess a strong passion for learning, excellent research and analytical skills, good communication abilities, a high level of commitment, and discipline.


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research on various laws and socio-legal aspects, including the preparation of case notes.

- Write articles and blogs on a range of legal and socio-legal topics on a weekly basis.

- Assist in building a comprehensive database of case laws.

- Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Internship Committee.


Duration:

The internship is scheduled for September 2024, with the possibility of extension in special cases. The program is virtual/online, enabling interns to work remotely.

The subject line of the email should read "Internship for the Month of [Preferred Month]." Applications for the September 2024 internship must be submitted by August 24, 2024. The Internship Committee accepts applications throughout the year, but candidates must apply at least 7 days before the start of their preferred month.


Salary/Stipend:

This is an unpaid internship; however, interns will benefit from invaluable learning experiences, including enhancing research skills, gaining exposure through writing, and developing professional documents and presentations.


Location:

This is a remote internship, allowing interns to work from anywhere.
