About the Internship/Job

This is a full-time, on-site internship opportunity at Legal Draftsmen in Mumbai. As a Legal Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in legal research, drafting, and documentation, particularly in property and succession law. This role is designed for law students eager to sharpen their skills and deepen their understanding of legal drafting and compliance.


Eligibility

  • Currently pursuing an LLB:

    • 1st or 2nd year of a 3-year degree course

    • 3rd or 4th year of a 5-year degree course

  • Strong legal research and drafting skills, especially in property and succession law.

  • Prior internship or exposure to legal drafting is mandatory.

  • Attention to detail and ability to handle complex legal matters.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth legal research on the Transfer of Property Act and Hindu Succession Act.

  • Draft and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.

  • Assist in preparing legal drafts, agreements, and related documentation.

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to support case preparation and due diligence.


Duration

Minimum 3 months, with a possibility of extension based on performance.


Salary/Stipend

As per industry standards (details will be discussed during the interview).
