About the Internship/Job:
Varahe Analytics Private Limited is looking for a Legislative Research Associate to join our team in Delhi for a 6-month Short-Term Contractual (STC) role, with the possibility of conversion to a Full-Time Contractual (FTC) role based on performance. Eligibility:
Experience: 0-2 years in legislative research, policy analysis, or related domains.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Political Science, Governance, or related fields.
Skills Required:
Strong research and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
Understanding of parliamentary processes, judicial rulings, and governance frameworks.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, policy-driven environment.
Additional Requirements:
Candidates must bring their own laptops.
Open to deputation based on project requirements.
Preferred: Candidates with a legal background are highly encouraged to apply.
Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Legislative Research Associate, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting in-depth research on parliamentary proceedings, committee reports, and policy decisions at both central and state levels.
Tracking and interpreting key judicial rulings and legislative developments.
Preparing policy briefs, reports, and stakeholder insights to support decision-making.
Assisting legislators and policymakers with data-driven research and policy recommendations.
Supporting stakeholder meetings, policy discussions, and legislative engagements.
Duration:
6-month Short-Term Contractual (STC) role with a possibility of conversion to a Full-Time Contractual (FTC) role based on performance.
Salary/Stipend:
Compensation will be competitive and based on experience.
Location:
Delhi (with flexibility for project-based deputation as required).
