About the Internship:

Maximus Legal® invites applications for its on-site internship programme for the months of August and September 2024. This internship offers law students a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience and exposure to real-world legal practices by working from the office premises.

Eligibility:

  • Third-year and above students enrolled in a 5-year law program.

  • Second-year and above students enrolled in a 3-year law program.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with legal research and analysis.

  • Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and briefs.

  • Attending court proceedings and client meetings.

  • Supporting senior lawyers in case preparation.

  • Managing and organizing case files and documentation.

  • Performing other duties as assigned by the supervising attorneys.

Duration:

  • The internship programme will run for two months, covering August and September 2024.
