About the Company:

The organization focuses on collaborative efforts to enhance public policy frameworks and initiatives. The upcoming partnership with the Odisha government will establish the Data, Policy, and Innovation Centre in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, aiming to revolutionize policymaking through data analysis and innovation.
About the Internship/Job:
They are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Policy Intern. As a Policy Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the UChicago Trust’s collaboration with the Odisha government. This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with government stakeholders, contribute to policy research and development, and actively participate in innovative projects aimed at shaping the future of public policy in Odisha.
Eligibility:
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
Strong interest in public policy, government affairs, and data-driven decision-making.
Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software will be an added advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct research on relevant policy issues, collect and analyze data, and contribute to policy briefs and reports.
Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and events related to public policy and innovation.
Collaborate with government stakeholders to gather insights, provide policy recommendations, and support implementation strategies.
Engage in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance policy frameworks.
Prepare presentations, documents, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Duration:
This is a full-time internship position for a duration of 3 months.
