About the Internship:

JSA is offering an exciting internship opportunity in their Corporate/Infra practice area, based in Kolkata. This program is designed to provide law students with hands-on experience in a dynamic legal environment. Interns will have the chance to work closely with experienced attorneys, gaining valuable insights into corporate and infrastructure law.

Eligibility:

  • Candidates must be in their fourth or fifth year of a five-year integrated law course or in their second or third year of a three-year LLB course.

  • Applicants must be based in Kolkata.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with legal research and analysis.

  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements.

  • Supporting the team in various corporate and infrastructure projects.

  • Attending client meetings and taking detailed notes.

  • Preparing case summaries and reports.

  • Participating in team discussions and providing input on ongoing cases.

Duration:

  • The internship will start in August 2024.

  • There is a potential for an extension of two to three months based on performance and requirement.
