About the Internship:

Upscale_Legal is offering a hands-on internship program for motivated law students looking to gain practical experience in a fast-paced legal environment. The internship will provide students with the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on real cases, involving legal research, document preparation, and client interaction. This internship is ideal for individuals who are eager to develop their legal skills and contribute meaningfully to the firm’s projects and initiatives.

Eligibility:

- Currently enrolled in a law degree program (JD or LLB)

- Strong academic performance and research capabilities

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research software

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys with research, document review, and preparation

- Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases

- Draft legal documents, including memos, briefs, and reports

- Participate in client meetings and court proceedings

- Contribute to ongoing firm projects and initiatives

- Develop legal writing, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Duration:

The internship will run for the months of September and October 2024, from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.
