About the Job:

Mangal Leela & Associates is seeking a bright and motivated associate to join their legal team. This position offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in litigation, working closely with seasoned attorneys and engaging in a variety of legal processes.

Eligibility:

0-2 years of experience in litigation.
Recent graduate with a law degree.
Sanad with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa, or in the process of applying for Sanad.
Understanding of the Civil Procedure Code and important civil laws.
Excellent oratory, written, and presentation skills.
Strong team collaboration skills.
Preference will be given to Mumbai-based candidates.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Draft pleadings, motions, and other ancillary legal documents.
Prepare for and appear before Metropolitan Magistrates, City Civil Courts, Revenue Courts, and the High Court.
Assist with case management and provide comprehensive office support.
Undertake all work assignments as required by the firm.

Duration:

The position is scheduled to commence in September 2024.
