About the Job:

Mangal Leela & Associates is seeking a bright and motivated associate to join their legal team. This position offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in litigation, working closely with seasoned attorneys and engaging in a variety of legal processes.

Eligibility:

  • 0-2 years of experience in litigation.

  • Recent graduate with a law degree.

  • Sanad with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa, or in the process of applying for Sanad.

  • Understanding of the Civil Procedure Code and important civil laws.

  • Excellent oratory, written, and presentation skills.

  • Strong team collaboration skills.

  • Preference will be given to Mumbai-based candidates.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other ancillary legal documents.

  • Prepare for and appear before Metropolitan Magistrates, City Civil Courts, Revenue Courts, and the High Court.

  • Assist with case management and provide comprehensive office support.

  • Undertake all work assignments as required by the firm.

Duration:

  • The position is scheduled to commence in September 2024.
