About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Commercial Lawyer with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our Mumbai office. The ideal candidate will handle a diverse portfolio of corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity, and business transfers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, advising clients on high-stakes legal matters and contributing to the firm’s growth.


Eligibility:

  • PQE of 2-5 years in corporate commercial law.

  • Proven experience in due diligence, drafting, and negotiating contracts related to M&A (domestic and cross-border), private equity, joint ventures, business transfers, and divestments.

  • Strong knowledge of Contract Law, Corporate Laws, Real Estate Law, and Employment Laws.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong client-service orientation and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Draft, assess, analyze, negotiate, and finalize contracts and agreements.

  • Lead negotiations for M&A, business transfers, collaborations, licensing, leasing, partnerships, and strategic alliances.

  • Conduct due diligence and provide comprehensive legal advice on transactions.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in all transactions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client-focused solutions.


Duration:

Full-time, permanent position.
