About the Internship/Job

They are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Advocate to join our team. This position is ideal for fresh graduates who are interested in litigation and eager to gain hands-on experience in the legal field. The selected candidate will work closely with our team of experienced lawyers at the Calcutta High Court and in our chamber, contributing to various legal matters and gaining invaluable experience.

Eligibility

• Recent law graduate (LLB) from a recognized university.

• Registered with any State Bar Council in India.

• Strong academic and extracurricular record.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in English and local languages.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Drafting legal documents, briefs, and opinions.

• Conducting legal research and analysis on various case-related matters.

• Assisting senior advocates in case preparation and court proceedings.

• Attending court sessions and client meetings.

• Taking detailed notes and typing documents quickly and accurately.

• Demonstrating a keen interest in litigation and a willingness to learn.

Duration

This position requires a commitment of 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and mutual interest.
