About the Internship/Job:

They are seeking a diligent and responsible Legal Assistant for a freelance opportunity focusing on family law litigation matters in Canada. The engagement period is until December 30, requiring a commitment of 6-7 hours daily.

Eligibility:

  • Law Graduate with a strong academic background.

  • Prior professional experience in litigation-related drafting work.

  • Proficient in using Westlaw for case law research (previous extensive use is a must).

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research, including case research, on family law matters.

  • Draft and prepare legal documents related to litigation.

  • Collaborate with the legal team to gather relevant information.

  • Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all legal tasks.

Duration:

The engagement period is until December 30, providing an immersive experience in family law litigation.
