About the Job:

The Legal Associate role is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 2–3 years of experience in contract law. The role involves working in a collaborative environment, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, and ensuring compliance with legal standards.


Eligibility:

  • Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB). An LLM degree is an added advantage.

  • A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in contract law is required.

  • Strong understanding of commercial and contract law is essential.

  • Candidates must possess excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Experience in the Shipping, Energy, or IT sectors will be preferred.

  • Preference will be given to candidates based in Chennai or Tamil Nadu.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, and vendor agreements.

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable legal standards and mitigating contractual risks.

  • Collaborating with clients to ensure contracts align with their business objectives.

  • Managing and maintaining comprehensive contract documentation.


Duration:

This is a permanent, full-time position.
