About the Job:
They are seeking talented and detail-oriented legal researchers with extensive experience in using Westlaw/LexisNexis. This is an exciting freelance opportunity for individuals looking to apply their legal research skills in a flexible and challenging environment. Successful candidates will join our team on a freelance basis, contributing to various research assignments with a commitment to excellence.
Eligibility:
Proven experience with Westlaw and/or LexisNexis for legal research purposes.
Excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
A law degree from a recognized university is preferred but not mandatory.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in legal research.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Conducting detailed legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other relevant databases.
Analyzing legal documents, cases, and statutes to support ongoing cases or projects.
Preparing comprehensive research reports and memos.
Ensuring accuracy and reliability of all researched information.
Meeting a minimum commitment of 3 hours daily for research tasks.
Duration:
This is a freelance position with a flexible duration, depending on the project requirements and the researcher’s availability. Each research assignment typically spans two to three days.
