About the Job:
We are currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Income Tax team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our partner, Mr. Apoorv Agarwal, who has been appointed as Standing Counsel, Income Tax. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you will be involved in high-stakes cases and gain invaluable experience in income tax law.
Eligibility:
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB)
Minimum of [X] years of experience in income tax law
Strong understanding of Indian tax laws and regulations
Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist the partner in handling income tax cases, including research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court proceedings
Conduct thorough legal analysis and provide strategic advice to clients on tax matters
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and effective resolution of cases
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive legal advice to clients
Duration: Full-time position
