About the internship/job:

 AVIMUKTA is seeking a Compliance Associate/Manager to provide legal and compliance support for our AIF operations. This independent contributor (IC) role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere, contributing to impactful initiatives in the legal and compliance domain.

Eligibility:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Chartered Accountancy, or Company Secretaryship.

• 3 to 7 years of experience in the legal and compliance domain.

• Prior experience with a VC/AIF preferred.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices for AIF operations.

• Assist with SEBI, Income-tax, and FEMA related compliances for the Fund/Portfolio Companies.

• Develop and implement scalable processes and strong internal controls.

• Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, bankers, external consultants, and tax advisors.

• Facilitate investor communication, monitoring, and mentoring.

Duration: Full-time position.
