About the Position:

Program Officer cum Legal Researcher

Eligibility:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in social work, law, or a related field.
Experience in program management and implementation, especially in the non-profit sector.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Understanding of the challenges faced by acid attack survivors and a strong commitment to human rights and social justice.
Proficiency in data management and reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Program Management:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of specific programs, including medical rehabilitation, legal intervention, shelter homes, and educational support.

Research:
- Identify fundraising opportunities and develop proposals for the organization.
- Coordinate with acid attack survivors, the legal team, and other stakeholders to document challenges faced while navigating the Criminal Justice System and government offices.

Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on program progress, outcomes, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
- Review periodic reports and other necessary documents, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements for funding agencies.
- Develop and disseminate materials for the organization’s archive, website, and social media handles.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for program activities, beneficiaries, and financial transactions.
