About the Job
: They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Legal Manager – Business Legal (non-litigation) to join our team in Delhi – Pusa Road. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our business operations by providing comprehensive legal advisory services, ensuring compliance, and managing non-litigation legal matters.
Eligibility:
A law degree from a recognized university.
Approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience in business legal affairs, particularly in non-litigation roles.
Strong understanding of the legal framework governing housing finance and related sectors.
Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide legal advisory services to various departments and ensure compliance with legal norms.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to safeguard the company’s interests.
Manage and oversee all non-litigation legal matters, including but not limited to regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
Liaise with external legal counsel as required.
Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the housing finance industry and advise on legal risks and mitigation strategies.
Support the legal team in developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the legal function.
Duration:
This is a full-time, permanent position.
