About the Position:
They are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Legal Consultant to join our dynamic team in Kolkata. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the legal field and looking for an opportunity to showcase their skills in legal drafting, advice, and analysis across various domains, including consumer law, cybercrime, and family law.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting legal notices, contracts, partnership deeds, rental agreements, and other legal documents.
Providing expert legal advice to clients.
Filing and handling RTI appeals.
Drafting and filing consumer complaints and managing cases related to cybercrime.
Conducting case analysis and offering insights on consumer court processes.
Vetting contracts and documents to ensure legal compliance and protect client interests.
Eligibility:
Must have completed an undergraduate degree in law (LL.B, B.A. LL.B, B.B.A LL.B, etc.) from a recognized university.
Postgraduate degrees with a specialization in Corporate Law will be given preference.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior internships in reputable law firms will be considered an advantage.
Must be registered with both the All India Bar Council and the State Bar Council.
Possession of a valid license to practice law is mandatory.
Desired Skills:
Basic knowledge of legal drafting.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Duration:
