Job Description

Require CA, LLB from Mumbai Location interested in Indirect Taxation for following work:

Advisory:

• Advice on classification, valuation, applicability of taxes on transactions and admissibility to tax benefits/exemptions

• Opinions on other indirect tax issues

• Providing innovative but rigorous tax planning ideas Compliance Support and Outsourcing

• Indirect tax compliance support for Clients Pan India basis

• Ensuring strict execution of customised templates prepared by Firm while filing returns under GST Laws

General:

Writing articles, preparing PPT for seminars to be addressed by Seniors ii. Periodical Client visit to ensure IDT compliance is done as per GST Laws and allied laws Leading client relationship

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Be part of Development, implement and manage key process and people initiatives in the organization, while ensuring compliance.

• Knowledge of legal framework, regulations, Companies Act, and other applicable laws/regulations required for transactions.

• Would be responsible for executing the work timely and report it to Senior Management.

• Prepares company and client tax forms and data while offering tax accounting advice to both clients and internal company departments

• Maintains and updates working knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including new filing practices, deadlines, and any company-specific information

• Ensuring that the firms guidelines and templates are followed while filing GST Returns, GST Audit, including meeting deadlines and ensuring all financial practices and records comply with relevant Tax Laws

• Reviews work by junior team members, recognises training opportunities for junior team members, and offers knowledge and support to develop team member performance.

• File the company's tax documents, including quarterly payments, extensions and tax returns

• Recommend new strategies based on new taxation laws on the local, state or federal level

• Maintain the proper materials so that you will be capable of interpreting and reviewing changes in the law

• Streamline procedures and offer recommendations on how the tax filing process can run more efficiently
