About the Internship/Job:

Lawmen & White LLP, Advocates & Solicitors, is inviting applications for the position of Associate in Delhi. This opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking a dynamic legal environment with exposure to a wide array of cases and an opportunity to contribute significantly to the legal field.

Eligibility:

• Preferably first-generation lawyers with no family background in the legal profession.

• Legal qualifications from a recognized institution.

Roles and Responsibilities:

During the 2-month probation/assessment period, associates will be responsible for:

• Drafting pleadings and requisite documentation for various judicial fora.

• Preparation of case notes, written arguments, and briefings for case management.

• Assisting in briefing senior counsel engaged for specific matters.

• Appearance and argument in judicial forums, including complete file management.

• Legal research on assigned cases and areas of firm interest.

• Research and drafting of articles/analysis for publication by the firm.

• Prompt filing and listing of cases upon assignment and managing associated procedural aspects.

Duration:

Probation/assessment period of 2 months, with a stipend provided.

Key Expectations:

• Proficiency in English and Hindi for effective drafting.

• Stay updated with the latest legal developments and procedural aspects.

• Problem-solving ability and working well under pressure.

• Teamwork and leadership skills.

• Strong work ethic and professionalism.

• Maintaining strict confidentiality.
