About the Internship/Job:
They are seeking highly motivated and experienced Legal Researchers with a background in utilizing LexisNexis and/or Westlaw. This freelance opportunity involves hands-on work with civil law cases, requiring a commitment of at least 5 hours daily for each project. The duration of each project may extend up to 2 weeks, and successful candidates may be considered for long-term freelance legal work. The role also encompasses additional responsibilities, such as assisting with litigation-related tasks and ensuring the accurate retrieval of legal forms.
Eligibility:
Law students, graduates, or attorneys
Prior experience working on LexisNexis and/or Westlaw
Commitment to dedicating a minimum of 5 hours daily to each project
Strong leadership qualities, commitment, and sincerity
Roles and Responsibilities:
Conducting in-depth legal research using LexisNexis and/or Westlaw
Analyzing and summarizing civil law cases in the US and Canada
Assisting with litigation-related tasks, including the retrieval of appropriate legal forms
Collaborating with the team to ensure project success
Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Duration:
Each project may extend up to 2 weeks, with the potential for long-term freelance engagement.
