About the internship/job:
They are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Litigation Associate fresh out of college to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of litigation cases under the supervision of senior associates. As a Junior Litigation Associate, you will be involved in reviewing legal documents, representing the firm in court, conducting legal research, and assisting in drafting memos and briefs. This role also requires effective communication with clients and court officials in Odia.
Eligibility:
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
Strong proficiency in reading legal documents in Odia.
Excellent verbal communication skills in Odia.
Keen interest in litigation with a focus on criminal and civil law.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of using Legal Databases like SCC Online, Manupatra & well-versed in Original Side, Writ Side Rules of the High Court.
Experience and skilled in MS Word, Excel, Litigation Management System & Contract Management System.
Roles and responsibilities:
Assist in reviewing legal documents such as charge sheets, FIRs, and pleadings.
Represent the firm in various courts under the supervision of senior associates.
Conduct legal research and assist in drafting memos and briefs.
Attend court hearings and client meetings.
Communicate effectively with clients and court officials in Odia.
Duration: Full-time position
