About the Job:

Midas Legal is seeking a Senior Legal Associate to join their dynamic team. The role involves drafting legal documents, court appearances, and managerial responsibilities, with a focus on civil, criminal, and corporate cases. This position is based at the firm's head office in Noida.


Eligibility:

  • Education: LL.B from a reputable university; LL.M in Law preferred.

  • Experience: 6 years of post-qualification experience in law firms, with a focus on drafting, court appearances, and managerial responsibilities.

  • Skills:

  • Exceptional drafting skills in civil and corporate cases.

  • Sound knowledge of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).

  • Proven track record of successful court appearances and litigation representation before Supreme Court of India, High Courts, NCLT & NCLAT, and District Courts.

  • Strong leadership and managerial skills.

  • Proficiency in legal research, analysis, and problem-solving.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and Court Appearances:

  • Proficiently draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and agreements.

  • Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and proceedings.

  • Identify opportunities to bring in legal work from existing clients and cultivate relationships with new clients.

  • Focus on protecting clients' and the firm's commercial interests in disputes and agreements.

  • Provide comprehensive legal support, including templates, advice, risk management, and subject matter knowledge.

  • Demonstrate strong managerial skills to lead and mentor junior associates.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Provide guidance, supervision, and support to ensure the team's success in meeting client needs and achieving organizational objectives.


Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Thorough understanding of Commercial, Consumer, Fundraising, Due Diligence, Risk Management, Contracts, IT, IPR, Privacy, Customs laws, etc.


Duration:

This is a full-time position.
