Job/Internship Overview:

They are excited to announce an opening for a motivated and dynamic Associate Advocate specializing in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) to join our team. This position is ideal for young lawyers who are looking to build a long-term career with MLP and aspire to climb the ladder of success within the organization.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: LLB (3 years or 5 years)/LLM from a recognized university.

• PQE: 1-2 Years of experience, specifically in the field of Intellectual Property Rights.

• Proximity: Applicant must reside within an 8-10 km radius of the MLP office in West Delhi.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conducting trademark searches and providing legal opinions.

• Managing and maintaining IP filings, renewals, and the prosecution of trademark applications.

• Preparing, maintaining, and updating client trademark portfolios.

• Handling client queries on IP practices in India and drafting legal opinions.

• Preparing legal documents such as Notice of Opposition, Counter-Statement/Evidence in Support of Reply, Rectification, Notices, and Rejoinders.

• Attending show cause hearings at the Trademark Registry.

Duration:

This is a full-time position. The selected candidate will be expected to commit to long-term growth with the organization.
