About the Company:

One Legal, Advocates and Legal Advisors, located in Mumbai, is seeking a Legal Associate for an immediate full-time position. The company specializes in civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and is looking for a qualified individual to join their team.


About the Internship/Job:

The Legal Associate position at One Legal is a full-time on-site role in Mumbai. As a Legal Associate, the candidate will be responsible for performing legal research, drafting legal documents, managing and organizing legal files, providing support to attorneys, and assisting in legal proceedings. The role requires maintaining confidentiality, demonstrating attention to detail, and exhibiting excellent communication and organizational skills.


Eligibility:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.

  • Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE) in civil litigation and ADR.

  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.

  • Excellent research and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of local laws and regulations.

  • Experience in a law firm or legal department is preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform legal research on various legal issues.

  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.

  • Manage and organize legal files and documents.

  • Provide support to attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and meetings.

  • Assist in legal proceedings, including court appearances and client meetings.

  • Maintain confidentiality of client information and sensitive legal matters.

Duration:

Full-time permanent position.
