About the Internship/Job:
As a Litigation Associate at Ramnivas Surajmal, you will join a dynamic team of legal professionals in a fast-paced and supportive environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of cases, providing a broad exposure to litigation practices and procedures. You will collaborate with senior attorneys and partners, contributing to the firm’s success by delivering high-quality legal services to our esteemed clients.
Eligibility:
A law degree from a recognized university.
Bar qualification in India.
Experience in litigation is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Conducting legal research and analysis on varied issues.
Representing clients in court under the supervision of senior lawyers.
Preparing for and assisting with trials, arbitrations, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
Communicating with clients to keep them informed about the progress of their cases.
Contributing to the firm’s business development efforts.
Participating in continuing legal education and professional development activities.
Duration:
This is a full-time position. The initial contract will be for a period of 1 year, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
