About the Internship/Job:

As a Litigation Associate at Ramnivas Surajmal, you will join a dynamic team of legal professionals in a fast-paced and supportive environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of cases, providing a broad exposure to litigation practices and procedures. You will collaborate with senior attorneys and partners, contributing to the firm’s success by delivering high-quality legal services to our esteemed clients.

Eligibility:

• A law degree from a recognized university.

• Bar qualification in India.

• Experience in litigation is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.

• Conducting legal research and analysis on varied issues.

• Representing clients in court under the supervision of senior lawyers.

• Preparing for and assisting with trials, arbitrations, mediations, and other legal proceedings.

• Communicating with clients to keep them informed about the progress of their cases.

• Contributing to the firm’s business development efforts.

• Participating in continuing legal education and professional development activities.

Duration:

This is a full-time position. The initial contract will be for a period of 1 year, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
