Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Associate at S.K Singhi & Partners in Mumbai. The Associate will play a vital role in the firm’s legal operations, being responsible for handling legal matters, drafting agreements, conducting in-depth legal research, and offering strategic advice to clients on various legal issues. The Associate will also actively participate in client meetings and represent the firm in High Court and other courts when necessary.

Eligibility

Excellent legal drafting skills, legal research abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of the Indian legal system.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Previous experience in banking and finance, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, or litigation will be considered an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from a reputable institution.
Enrollment with the Bar Council of India.

Roles and Responsibilities

Handle legal matters and provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
Draft and review legal agreements, contracts, and documents.
Conduct extensive legal research to support case strategies and provide informed opinions.
Attend client meetings, represent the firm in High Court and other courts as required.
Collaborate with senior associates and partners on complex legal cases.
Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations relevant to the firm’s practice areas.

Duration

This is a full-time, long-term position at S.K Singhi & Partners in Mumbai.
