About the Internship:

They are excited to offer a dynamic 3-month internship opportunity within our Legal Department. This position is designed for law graduates who have a passion for copyright law and are eager to explore its applications within the vibrant world of entertainment. As a legal intern at SWA, you will be immersed in a fast-paced environment, gaining invaluable experience and insight into copyright issues that directly impact the creative industry.

Eligibility:

Must hold a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree or equivalent.
Exceptional communication and drafting skills.
Proficiency in English and Hindi languages. Knowledge of additional Indian languages is a plus.
Demonstrated interest in copyright law and the entertainment industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive legal research related to copyright and privacy laws.
Assist in the preparation of legal documents and reports.
Participate in mediating disputes between parties.
Collaborate with the legal team on a variety of cases spanning different areas of law.
Engage in projects and tasks that contribute to the protection of writers’ rights and interests.

Duration:

This is a 3-month internship program. The starting date will be communicated to the selected applicants.
