About the Job:

Union Bank of India is currently seeking dedicated and experienced professionals to join our team as Legal Managers. This pivotal role involves handling various legal matters, ensuring the bank’s operations comply with legal standards, and providing legal advice and support across all departments. As a Legal Manager, you will play a key role in safeguarding the bank’s interests and contributing to its overall success.

Eligibility Criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates).

• A minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in the legal domain, preferably with exposure to banking and financial services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support to various departments on a wide range of legal issues.

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts to ensure they are in compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

• Represent the bank in legal proceedings before courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies.

• Monitor and analyze new laws, regulations, and policies that may affect the bank’s operations.

• Collaborate with external legal counsel on specialized legal matters.

• Assist in the development and implementation of the bank’s legal compliance programs.

Duration:

This is a full-time, permanent position.
