About the Internship/Job:

As a Legal Intern at Vaia Climate, you will be an integral part of our team, actively contributing to our ESG initiatives. Your role will involve in-depth research on ESG laws and regulations, ESG rating metrics, international and Indian ESG standards, and guidelines. You will lead efforts to create a comprehensive repository of ESG best practices. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the field of sustainable development, providing valuable insights into corporate governance and environmental responsibility.

Eligibility:

Undergraduate degree from a reputed law university
Keen understanding of ESG laws/regulations and interest in corporate governance
Relevant internship or work experience at law firms/VC funds/think tanks/startups/research organizations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Prior experience in conducting due diligence and research on sustainable development (an added advantage)

Conduct cutting-edge research on ESG laws, regulations, and rating metrics
Explore international and Indian ESG standards and guidelines
Create a repository of ESG best practices
Assist in due diligence and research on sustainable development projects
