About the Fellowship:

Vidhi is seeking a Research Fellow to join its dynamic team, focusing on legal and policy issues that emerge from leveraging technology for public good. This fellowship offers an invaluable opportunity to contribute to original and independent research projects, as well as to engage with key stakeholders in critical areas of tech policy reform. The scope of Vidhi’s work in the law and technology sector encompasses a broad range of issues, including but not limited to AI ethics and governance, data governance, general IT governance, and fintech regulation.

Eligibility:

  • A degree in law, public policy, technology, or related fields, with a strong academic record.

  • Demonstrated interest and expertise in technology policy and legal research.

  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on complex research projects.

  • Previous experience in policy research, legal academia, or related work is highly desirable.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive research on legal and policy issues related to technology, including AI governance, data protection, and fintech regulation.

  • Draft reports, policy briefs, and recommendations that contribute to the public discourse on tech policy reform.

  • Engage with government bodies, public institutions, and other stakeholders to provide research and drafting support.
