About the Job:
They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Legal Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contract management, litigation administration, and legal research. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters and gain valuable experience in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Eligibility:
LL.B. degree (5 years/3 years)
Strong command over English
Legal drafting skills
Familiarity with legal research tools
Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer knowledge
0-3 years of post-qualification experience
Preference may be given to candidates familiar with litigation and court procedures
Roles and Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Drafting, vetting, and negotiating various legal documents, including agreements, MOUs, legal notices, affidavits, and service agreements. Maintenance of document repository.
Litigation Management: Administering end-to-end process-flow of litigation and contentious matters. Instructing external counsels, reviewing and drafting pleadings, and maintaining control of legal expenses.
Strategy Review: Organizing and conducting timely reviews of ongoing cases with senior management to ensure accurate risk categorization and strategy for resolution.
