Job Description: Compliance & Data Privacy Officer
About the Internship/Job:
They are looking for experienced lawyers with a minimum of 5 years of PQE in anti-bribery compliances, data privacy compliances, ethics compliances, and related areas. As a Compliance & Data Privacy Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our company adheres to all applicable laws and regulations. This remote opportunity allows you to work closely with a global team and handle offshore clients, contributing significantly to our continued success in the tech industry.
Eligibility:
Minimum 5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in anti-bribery compliances, data privacy compliances, ethics compliances, and related legal fields.
Strong understanding of international laws and regulations related to compliance, data privacy, and ethics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough reviews of the company's operations to ensure compliance with anti-bribery, data privacy, and ethics regulations.
Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures, staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and industry standards.
Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance matters.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance-related issues and implement effective solutions.
Monitor and investigate any reported violations of compliance standards.
Liaise with offshore clients, addressing their compliance-related queries and concerns.
Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in the field of compliance and data privacy.
Duration:
This is a full-time, permanent position.
