About the Job:
MakeMyTrip is seeking a highly skilled Legal Associate with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our team in Gurugram. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse legal agreements, negotiations, and compliance matters. The selected candidate will provide legal advisory services and ensure that all legal documents align with the company's interests and industry standards.
Eligibility:
L.L.B degree from a premier college/university
Minimum 2-3 years of experience, preferably as an in-house counsel or in a law firm with similar responsibilities
Ability to manage work under strict timelines
Strong communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with internal teams and external business partners
Attention to detail and capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Self-driven with the ability to be both strategic and execution-oriented
Roles and Responsibilities:
Reviewing various types of legal agreements, including MSA, DPA, NDA, Vendor Agreements, Supplier Agreements, SAAS Agreements, and Service Provider Agreements
Negotiating agreements with business partners to secure the best interest of the organization
Ensuring that group standards and policies are reflected in legal documents to safeguard the company's interests
Keeping abreast of legislative changes affecting the company, particularly in technology laws, consumer protection, and data privacy laws
Providing business advisory services in alignment with the applicable legal landscape

Full-time position
