Legal Internship Opportunity at Chambers of Siddhant Sharma

About the Chambers:

Chambers of Siddhant Sharma, Advocate on Record (AOR) and Standing Counsel for the State of Punjab in the Supreme Court of India, offers a distinguished legal practice with a strong focus on constitutional law, civil matters, and public interest litigation. Based in Green Park Extension, New Delhi, the chambers handle high-stakes litigation and provide comprehensive legal services across a wide range of legal issues.


About the Internship:

This internship opportunity is available for the months of November and December 2024, in an offline, physical mode. It is an ideal role for law students eager to gain practical exposure to legal practice at the Supreme Court of India. Interns will have the opportunity to work directly with senior legal professionals, honing their skills in legal drafting, research, and litigation strategy.


Eligibility:

- Students in the 4th or 5th year of a five-year law programme.

- Students in the 3rd year of a three-year law programme.


*Skills Required:*

- Proficiency in legal drafting and research.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and assist in the preparation of case briefs.

- Draft legal documents, including petitions, affidavits, and legal opinions.

- Assist in preparing case files for court proceedings.

- Attend court hearings and assist with trial preparations.

- Work closely with senior counsel on various high-profile cases, gaining exposure to the workings of the Supreme Court.


Duration

Internships are available for November and December 2024, with the possibility of extending based on performance and mutual agreement.
