About the Internship:

Mangal Leela & Associates is hiring dedicated law students for an internship starting in November 2024. The internship offers exposure to litigation and dispute resolution, giving interns the opportunity to work on real cases and enhance their legal skills. This is a physical internship that requires attendance at the firm's offices and participation in court visits.


Eligibility:

- Law students in their 5th year (semester II, III, or IV) of a 5-year LLB course, or 3rd year (semester I or II) of a 3-year LLB course.

- Proficiency in English, with excellent communication and oratory skills.

- Preference will be given to candidates with prior internship experience.

- Must be based in Mumbai.

- Willingness to travel to various courts, including Bombay High Court, City Civil Court, Co-operative Courts, Consumer Courts, Revenue Courts, Tribunals, and Magistrates' Courts.


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and assist in drafting documents.

- Attend court proceedings and assist with case preparations.

- Accompany senior associates to various courts and tribunals.

- Prepare case summaries, briefs, and reports as needed.

- Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies for ongoing cases.

- Maintain organized records of cases and legal documents.


Duration:

- Minimum 3 months, starting from November 2024.
