About the Internship/Job:
The legal team at Shapoorji Pallonji Infrastructure Capital Company Pvt. Ltd., based in Mumbai, is offering a two-month internship for 4th-year law students. This opportunity is ideal for students looking to gain hands-on experience in corporate legal matters, litigation management, mergers and acquisitions, and legal research. The internship provides exposure to dynamic legal work and interaction with internal stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
Eligibility:
Must be a 4th-year law student (preferably based in Mumbai).
Strong knowledge of commercial and civil laws.
Good analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
A strong desire to learn, with the ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Litigation Management: Filing and preparing case briefs for matters related to electricity regulations, land disputes, and negotiable instrument complaints.
Mergers and Acquisitions: Assisting with transaction support.
Legal Documentation: Drafting legal notices, replies, powers of attorney, and affidavits.
Legal Research: Conducting research for commercial transactions with third parties, including customers and vendors.
Interaction with internal stakeholders to address legal matters.
Duration:
2 months
Salary/Stipend:
A monthly stipend will be provided at the end of each month.
