About the Job:

LEGALLANDS LLP is looking to hire a fresher Legal Associate for its office in Paschim Vihar, Delhi. The role is designed for a passionate and driven individual who is ready to begin their legal career in a reputed law firm, gaining exposure to diverse areas of corporate law and international practices.


Eligibility:

- Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) or Master’s in Law (LL.M.).

- Licensed to practice law by the State Bar Association.

- Proficiency in English with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Knowledge of MS Office and legal research tools.

- Some prior internship experience is preferred.


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth legal research on corporate and business law matters, providing well-researched opinions and recommendations.

- Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and safeguarding client interests.

- Stay updated with changes in corporate law and participate in continuing legal education and professional development activities.

- Assist with business development efforts, including client pitches, proposals, and marketing initiatives.

- Conduct due diligence investigations for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.

- Organize and maintain legal documents, contracts, and records efficiently and securely.


Duration:

This is a full-time position, starting on December 1, 2024.
