About the Job:
Metalegal Advocates is seeking a motivated Associate on a retainership basis to join their dynamic team. This role is designed for candidates eager to develop hands-on experience in matrimonial laws, economic offenses, and other areas within criminal and civil litigation. With access to diverse case types, the Associate will gain valuable exposure and practical skills in the legal field.
Eligibility:
- Qualified Advocate (LLB) with 0-1 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Strong communication skills.
- A passion for learning across various areas of law, especially in matrimonial and economic offenses.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on criminal and civil litigation, matrimonial issues, and economic offenses.
- Provide counsel on tax law and assist in mediation proceedings.
- Draft legal documents including petitions, MoUs, and appeals.
- Offer client support throughout litigation and advisory processes.
- Represent clients in different forums, enhancing advocacy and litigation skills.
Duration:
Ongoing, with retainership engagement.
