1.) The Haryana Government recently introduced the “Haryana Prevention of Unlawful Conversion of Religious Bill, 2022” in the State Legislative Assembly, making it the 6th Indian state to do so after Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. The bill prohibits coercive religious conversations and states strict punishment for the same. Opposition termed the bill as unconstitutional as it will create severance among masses.

2.) The Road Transport and Highways Ministry has recently come up with a new rule which states that the speed limit of 2-wheelers with kids less than 4 years of age as passenger, shall be 40 km/hr and that these kids will wear a helmet as well as a safety belt, securing them to the driver.
