The Supreme Court has overturned an NCDRC judgement dismissing a revision petition filed after a 67-day delay, stating that "the matter of limitation is not to be studied with a view to deny the condonation, but to give substantial justice."
The Court remanded the case to the NCDRC for a determination on the merits, stating that "the delay in filing the amendment was not substantial" and "should not have been permitted under the Consumer Protection Act."
