If a person of another faith believes in the Hindu deity, they are not prohibited from entering the temple: High Court of Madras

The Madras High Court harshly rejected a petitioner's request for an order prohibiting non-Hindus from taking part in the Kumbabishegam festival of Arulmighu Adikesava Perumal Thirukovil in Thiruvattar, ruling that no one of any religion should be banned or forbidden from entering a temple.

A suit was filed by a person named C. Soman in response to a festival invitation for Kumbabishegam that also mentioned a minister who practises Christianity.
