About the Job:

MLP is hiring for the position of *Associate Advocate - IPR* at their West Delhi office. This role offers an excellent opportunity for lawyers with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in IPR to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in intellectual property law and be willing to contribute to the growth of the organization.

Eligibility:

- *Education:* LLB (3-year or 5-year)/LLM

- *PQE:* 1-2 years in intellectual property law

- *Location:* Candidates must reside within an 8-10 km radius of the MLP office (Ramesh Nagar/Rajouri Garden/Kirti Nagar)

- Must have prior experience in managing trademark-related work

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conducting *trademark searches and providing legal opinions* on trademark matters

- Managing and maintaining the *filing, renewals, and prosecution* of trademark applications

- Preparing, maintaining, and updating *client trademark portfolios*

- Handling *client queries* regarding IP practices in India and drafting legal opinions

- Drafting legal documents such as *Notices of Opposition, Counter-Statements, Evidence in Support of Reply, Rectifications, and Rejoinders*

- Attending *show cause hearings* at the Trademark Registry

- Providing *strategic advice* to clients on trademark-related legal issues

Duration:

This is a *full-time* position with long-term growth opportunities within the firm.
