About the Job:

The Junior Associate role offers a unique opportunity for law graduates or freshers with relevant internship experience to gain hands-on experience in legal research, drafting, and courtroom procedures. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen interest in litigation and a drive to develop strong legal skills. Initially, the position will be on a probationary basis, with the potential for permanent placement based on performance.


Eligibility:

- Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) with a minimum CGPA of 6.5.

- Experience Level: 0-2 years (fresh graduates with substantial internship experience may also apply).

- Proficiency in using legal research databases like SCC Online, Manupatra, and similar platforms.

- Basic understanding of legal principles and familiarity with major legal publications such as All India Reporter, Supreme Court Cases, and Indian Law Reports.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth legal research using major databases.

- Draft and prepare various legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, notices, and case briefs.

- Attend court hearings, client meetings, and case conferences as required.

- Assist in managing case files and maintain accurate records using MIS.

- Participate in case discussions and provide support in preparing case strategies.


Duration:

The position begins with a probationary period, with the possibility of permanent absorption into the firm depending on performance.
