About the Job:

Sidharth Joshi’s office is seeking a highly motivated Litigation Associate to join the practice, which primarily focuses on criminal, civil, matrimonial, and arbitration matters. The practice is engaged in litigation before the District Courts and the Delhi High Court. This role is ideal for fresh law graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of experience who are keen on gaining hands-on litigation exposure in a dynamic and challenging legal environment.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: LL.B. (Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law) from a recognized institution
Experience: Fresh law graduates or candidates with up to 1-2 years of experience in litigation
Skills Required:
- Strong analytical, research, drafting, and communication skills
- In-depth understanding of legal concepts, procedures, and terminology
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research platforms such as SCC Online, Manupatra, etc.
Bar Council Membership: Must be enrolled with the Bar Council and eligible to practice law in India

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and assist in case preparation
Draft pleadings, petitions, applications, legal notices, and other legal documents
Attend court hearings and proceedings in District Courts and Delhi High Court
Assist in client consultations and case strategy discussions
Coordinate with senior counsels and other legal professionals as required
Ensure timely filings and compliance with procedural requirements
Maintain and update case files and documentation

Duration:

Full-time position with an immediate joining requirement

Location:

Chamber: High Court of Delhi
Office: Vishwas Nagar, Delhi

Salary/Stipend:

As per industry standards
