About the Job/Internship:

The selected candidate will be joining our Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) team as an Associate Advocate. This role is ideal for young, dynamic, and motivated lawyers who are looking to grow with the firm and build a long-term career in legal practice, especially within the specialized field of IPR.

Eligibility:

LLB (3 or 5 years) / LLM from a recognized university.
1-2 years of PQE in IPR or related fields.
Reside within an 8-10 km radius of the MLP office in West Delhi.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conducting trademark searches and providing legal opinions.
Managing IP filings, renewals, and prosecution of trademark applications.
Preparing, maintaining, and updating client trademark portfolios.
Handling client queries on IP practices in India and drafting legal opinions.
Preparing legal documents such as Notice of Opposition, Counter-Statement/Evidence, Rectification, Notices, and Rejoinders.
Attending show cause hearings at the Trademark Registry.
