About the Internship:

The Chambers of Ashish Mehta invites applications for three physical internship positions starting on 2nd September 2024. This internship presents an unparalleled opportunity to work closely on leading cases, offering practical exposure to complex legal matters. Interns will gain hands-on experience in legal research, drafting, and case management, working directly with major clients under the guidance of experienced counsel.


Eligibility:

- Applicants must have completed their 4th Semester exams (for the 3-year LLB course) or 8th Semester exams (for the 5-year integrated law course).

- Candidates must demonstrate a strong command of legal research and legal writing.

- A commitment to a minimum internship period of 4 months is required.


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conducting in-depth legal research and preparing case briefs.

- Assisting in drafting legal documents and pleadings.

- Supporting the legal team in preparing for court appearances and client meetings.

- Engaging in case analysis and providing insights for strategic legal planning.

- Collaborating with senior counsel on high-profile cases involving corporates and ministries.


Duration:

- The internship will commence on 2nd September 2024 and requires a minimum commitment of 4 months.
